Janis told us a lot about the country and the area as well as educating is about the natural parts of the forest. It is definitely worth getting out of Riga and seeing some of the natural beauty. The communication was great and the transport was easy and Janis customized the trip based on what we were interested in along the way. We also did the cable car to get a great view.”

“I ended up having this tour just me and the guide, he was very easygoing, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a beautiful walk across the Gauja national park with visits to some old houses/ a castle. I really loved seeing the nature and he made sure to chose the best possible trails for the weather conditions we were in. Drove me to and from the walk which was super convenient! Overall an excellent experience and really beautiful walk definitely recommend this.”

“Although the condition on the river was not perfect, water level was high and it was windy, I enjoyed the trip very much. The trip startet on a smaller river wich was fun and my guide Rolands took care to get me around the tree chunks. Unfortunately due to the high water level there were not many places for a rest. Nevertheless we enjoyed a good traditioal meal. The Organisation was perfekt, even I was the only participant. Perhaps summer or autumn would be a better time. Althougether, very good trip”
